World Food Day UN calls for a Wake-Up

Today, World Food Day, the United Nations recall for Social Consciousness and Support Actions to tackle the problem of 1 billions human suffering from hunger, water problems and vital needs deficits.

What do we do ?

We need Another Development based on ANTHROPO-ECONOMICS : An economy based on Human Rights and vital needs satisfaction, a financial system in support of Human Development.

The conceptual definition of IT Technology

Adapted from Karl Popper, we can redefine the concept of IT (Information Technology) as the complex relation between Technology and Society : the Real World, its Representation (induction) and its Abstraction (deduction). This model, combined with the Inforgetic Model of Organization would play then a fundamental role in the social construction of Technology., Nature and Society

Technology and Society are not separated in the complex world we live into.

Nature and the Human Mind are not either. Everything is linked and related.

Anthropoeconomics and The Universal Man Credit

Dear Friends,

it is very time to say some truths, and for good Scientifics to get political support

in the "developped" countries, we know since long that the global situation is not satisfying vital conditons of human development, for most of the world population, who have no access to water, food, electricity, health, education.

The situation is alarming - but we are hyper-alienated.

Jean Ziegler, from the United Nations, discusses some elements below :

CONCEPTION FOR ANOTHER DEVELOPMENT :

In the "developped" countries, today millions of un-employed people cannot work but their efforts and competences could save millions of lifes every year. In the "developped" countries, education is based since long on structural and metric information, not on the meaning of the information, the consciousness-making process, that IN THE REAL WORLD counts to reveal what is REALITY TODAY.

As a result, for the new generations, education is a "social consciousness-making process" failing to give responses to the World-Reality today

A process of individual branches of knowledge, an expertise-oriented process rather than assimilation by other branches, putting each other in closed Scientific views, not in the Disciplinary Relation, is not favorising Social Consciousness. News today have some events, some comments, but do not a strong Reality mirror, and a problem-oriented knowledge press would be welcome.

What are our problems ?

What matters for us in the reality ? what counts ? Shall we not be conscient of the overall situation to act in this world ?
How to organize a New Reality ? Can we change the financial system and how ?
Can we introduce a new economy regulation based on Respect on Human Rights ?
Can we give Science and *objective-knowledge making-processes* more weight in the Social decisions and organization of Society ?

What is Reality for us ?

1. From a Scientific point of view, an objective description of Reality - is a description detached from the observor. Objectivity is being *scientific* - we prefer this word - regarding the reality.

Richard Feyman, in The Value Of Science, has defined here a very serious problem : What do we do with this knowledge ?

Karl-Popper-3 Worlds.jpg

How to describe and modelize a Complex Reality ?

The response is Science again. The Karl Popper model of Reality is interesting with the 3 worlds : Real World, Perceived World, and Ideal World. Science is the knowledge of the unvariants between the Real and Ideal world : these 2 worlds are in correspondance in the scientific model.

SCIENTIFIC MODEL

Objectively, there is no possible change of an experience in the same experimental conditions.

The Scientific description is therefore independant from our Intentions to change it.  We can only make its description more accurate. And this is the role of Scientific Progress.

The paradox is that Science is not well represented in the current Economy. In our System, Decisions are taken in reference to an Internal Past economic system. Not externally to another future system we can invent : the super-system?

ECONOMIC MODEL
In the current System, what is 1 dollar when you don't have food ? The answer is "it is 1 dollar" ! Here more information about the food crisis.  In this context, current economics stay valid, but the situation is unacceptable. Current Economics fails because 1 dollar has no meaning of support in this context. We can continue counting in dollars, but we cannot say our measurment system shows the correction is not valuable economically. SO PERHAPS WE SHOULD STOP COUNTING IN DOLLARS. WE SHOULD COUNT ON PEOPLE ? Changing the Banking World-System with this UN Law proposition ? Here we appeal to Economists for prooving it would not be a valid model.

1. Every person living in this world should have the fundamental right to a good living conditions credit.

This credit would be financed by Banks and the World Bank. We need to change our world-view and world-system in reference to a Human Oriented System : ANTHROPO-LOGIC . The Credit Universal (Universal Man Credit) would be a fictive credit, convertible universally into real money function of the impact of the human and social activities of the actors involved in the satisfaction and maintenance of the Human Rights. UMC would be a contribution based transformation money system, a correction loop based development measurment. Every bank in the world would have to respect the right of financing vital needs satisfaction. Banks ensure this Credit is respected. It means they ensure conditions of universal fundamental rights. This is ANTHROPO-ECONOMICS.

We need to jump in a new economic model, where we understand Economics in relation to our  Universal Declaration of Human Rights. And the FIRST SEGMENT : " All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood ".

There is some Superstrengh for you in Science and Consciousness

Since 1920s, there was a scientific view that psychic abilities were a kind of radio communication between minds. This was stimulated by the visionary author Upton Sinclair in his book Mental Radio - prefaced by Albert Einstein - he describes there the mind-to-mind communication experiments he carried out.

The Mental Radio was described later by Nobel Prizes like Richard Feynman in What Do You Care What Other People Think? or Roger Penrose in The Emperor's New Mind or in the Small, the Large and the Human Mind. More recently, Elizabeth A. Rauscher developed a detailed theory of a hypothesis of consciousness and spacetime based on a eight dimensional complex Minkovski space, which continues The New Physics and our PATH TO REALITY

In Psychology, Perception Psychologist James Gibson (The Mind and the Nature) invented the concept of affordance to qualify the potential a non-intentional system can have over an intentional one. H.Simon got the Nobel Prize in Economy (in Sciences of the Artificial, MIT 1969) for describing the problem of Praxeology, of decision-making, and the definition of "the Environment" in only 3 cultural routines (reflexion, conception and selection).

FInally in any field of knowledge, in any discipine, our mental process, like our physical action is transdiscipinary, and this in only one "string" reports the problem of intelligent action to consciousness more than knowledge, the information from the environment having to be organized, but us educated - by experience - , for us to become conscious of some problems. also to organize our decisions and behaviors collectively, we shall run another field of organzation - after Knowledge Management (KM), this is now Consciousness Management (CM).

Towards singularity, and the Ultimate Technology

There are really some great news! …;)   As a Century ago, Einstein received the Nobel Prize and the universal recognition for his works on space-time theories on nuclear physics, these discoveries and knowledge created the startup of a new era for energy management and a revolution in the conception of our universe.

But we have now a new revolution – and bigger actually – The UFT (Unified Field Theory) !

It is very strange to look at how centuries of education, religions and culture’ stillnesses have biased “complexity” in narrow-minded fields of knowledge and therefore failed to get scientific truth about our universe. .. And it is very strange to find today proves from very old civizlations, like Mayas, Indians, or the Templiars Legend, that this knowledge or wisdom of Unified Field probably existed already thousands of years ago (*) ...

So Nassim Haramein has discovered the ultimate form of our Universe – the Vector Equilibirum

At The Resonance Project Foundation , where I invite you to participate - he has developed a Unified Field Theory sometimes referred as the Haramein-Rauscher metric which describes spacetime with the inclusion of a fundamental dynamic as a source for spin at all scales.

He says, “instead of looking for fundamental particles, we should start looking for a fundamental principle of DIVISION, we should show up the pattern of CREATION”.

…And this becomes magic !

Because it shows that the biological resolution is the link between the huge and the small ! “Everything we see in the universe is just Division of the energy density in various states”.

So we are the “event arisers”, the link between the infinitelvey small and the infinitively big !

AND WE HAVE NOW THE KEY !!

The « Seamless Web » : a user-centric "system of systems"

The « Seamless Web » can be defined as the complex graph linking everything to everything in the universe through the time. So it is also a « system of systems » but the approach is different from the complex systems theory. As It links here without seam intentional and unintentional systems or processes. It is actually a more global approach than the complex systems theory, defining each system as a combination of structures, functions and evolution, but can be completed this way.

34fcf029616317b967eee1063dc2a4cc.png

The Technosphere and the Environment are here described through a « network actor model » (see more on NAT (Network Actor Theory). We have to consider each element ubiquitous (chaotic reality). For instance, your car is part of your technosphere but it also exists in the Environment. The difference is a user centric point of view : if you can control your car (technosphere), then you can for instance use the road network environment. On the other way, the same reality can be either in or out of the technosphere depending on the position of the central actor

As points out Timber Neslee, blogging about the Social Graph as does also Alex Iskold, who social graphs and network theory (like network topology,) in general, “users want to own their own social graphs”. but “there is a "Social Network Portability" problem

The « Social graph » is also the point of view of Mark Zuckerberg, creator of Facebook. He says « it is the whole relations of all the people in the world. There is only one and nobody owns it »

So we could extend the concept of « Social Graph » to this concept of « Actor Graph », which is not also including Social Graph as the graph between Human Systems, but the graph between all things that would be linked in the real world, for example, Technology, Economy, Cultural an Natural Systems, …as these systems are all « Seamless » in the real world. It is a transdisciplinary world !

The Technosphere model is choosen because it considers the user (you, me, and everybody!) into a model Network-centric operations (NCO). This concept can trace its origins with the conception of “system of systems”. But Technology as the “General Technology”, so not only the physical objects, but the cultural organisation also, - as technology - , is a new concept for NCO

In the Digital Earth framework, standards foundations are : domains, disciplines’content and applications. >We have so our Environments (domains) and the Technology (Disciplines, datas, Applications ...are functional structures !) The model is directed to and from physical technologies : the Net we normally use as short for Internet, is also moving towards the International Information Infrastructure (III). It is a natural evolution because the largest Technosphere we have is our UNIVERSE

GEOSS Search Engine : GEOPORTAL

It is not in the official news of the GEO (Group on Earth Observations), but the GEOSS Search Engine (GEOPORTAL) was launched !

e7cc574b677536e4acfac0cd5637fa33.jpg

Derived from ESA's Earth Observation Community Portal (EO Portal), this contribution will put the accent on remote sensing, geospatial-static and in-situ data, with web services information. You can for instance overlay satellite datas to Google Earth !

Another update about the Metaverse project : a workshop conference is organised at Stanford University this 15 february. Objectives : exploring the spectrum of technologies and applications identified in the Roadmap. Functions : augmentation to simulation; and intimate (identity-focused) to external (world-focused), Applications : lifelogging, augmented reality, mirror worlds and virtual worlds. It is not a Roadmap Summit, but rather a further exploration of the ideas, and a chance for people in the field to connect and converse, and to prepare a full Summit in 2009 or 2010.

Scanning the Globe

kmlabs geoss scanning the globe

Contributions to the GEOSS project (GEOSS : Global Earth Observation System of Systems) we already talked about here are being made by the IEEE who leads the effort in developping standards for the 4 core functions :

FUNCTIONS are the following :

- Observation

- Processing

- Storage

- Dissemination

The IEEE is also publishing 2 journals on Earth Observation : earthzine (since DEC 07) and next summer J-STARS (Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observation and Remote Sensing) .  This is Neogeography for Neogeographers !

It seems also the GEOSS search engine we previously talked about into this post has not been launched yet. Any update about this project would be welcome...

Google in the Moon

8ba24be5093018faf6600565629f0fd8.jpgGoogle is teaming since september 2007 with the X Prize foundation to launch a commercial race to the Moon with a $30 million incentive.  To win the Google Lunar X PRIZE, a team must successfully land a privately funded craft on the lunar surface and survive long enough to complete the mission goals of roaming about the lunar surface for at least 500 meters and sending a defined data package, called a “Mooncast”, back to Earth.

http://www.googlelunarxprize.org/

0n FT Predict (Financial Times Predict), the games are openned. The Google Lunar X Prise to be won before 2012 can be bet on or off. It is a volatile value.

d7ecb98f4e7cdf3b53a1c7e5c71b3084.jpg

A quite different subject than the usual prediction games of FT.com like the pakistani national election date or the possible US + Israel Air Strike over Iran prediction date for 2008...

Google Moon already exist. Images are from the NASA, as well as for Google Space. But if you look for Google Lunar, everything is not ready.

If interested, you can join and apply for a job on the moon, at he Google Copernicus Hosting Environment and Experiment in Search Engineering (GCHEESE) !

By Locating a research and technology center on The Moon (Googlunaplex), Google engineers will be able to experiment with an entirely different set of parameters and conditions.

The Googlunaplex will house 35 engineers, 27,000 low cost web servers, 2 massage therapists and a sushi chef formerly employed by the pop group Hanson.
